wrong: in the bottom of the 4th, just after Saitoh doubled
on bases loaded to drive 3 runs in, Hosey flied deep left
field. Nishi jumped at the wall but couldn't get it although
the ball hit his glove. After Furuta singled to drive

become the new record of the all-star games (SB in a game).
He stole second and third both in the 3rd and the 5th against

Kiyohara got back-to-back homers to win the MVP. Matsui of the
Giants, not the Lions, got his first homerun in all star games.
Hosey of the Swallows showed his speed, stealing second base and
third base in the second inning. Oh, Matsui of the Lions again
got a stolen base against P Kuwata and C Furuta, although Kuwata
tried to pick him off twice. Matsui said that he had good jump
because Kuwata threw twice, so no more pick off play. OTOH,
Furuta said that he would caught him in the next all star game.
Furuta didn't make Kuwata pitch out to catch Matsui]
