 the 9th inning, so most of people thought that
 the Tigers would lose again.  But Kakuri didn't
 allowed to score in the pinches of the 10th and
 the 11th innings: bases loaded with no outs in the
 10th inning and runner on second with no outs in the
 11th inning.  In the top of the 12th inning, on bases
 empty with two outs, Yamada reached to first with an
 error of SS Nomura.  Kakuri singled to center field
 and Yamada advanced to third.  Then Wada got a clutch
 hit to center field.  After another error, Ayukawa
 got a 2-run hit.  In the bottom of the same inning,
 the Carp again had chance of bases loaded with one
 outs, but Mifune grounded to shortstop to be turned
 in double play]

 loaded with one out.  The batted ball hopped
 irregularly so that the ball went beside of SS
 Kawai's head.  Kakuri, who pitched in recent
 3 games and appeared in pinch of the 7th inning,
 hold the lead and finally the Tigers won three
 games in a row against the Giants since July, 1994]

[Imanaka, the Dragon starter, was credited with 1000

 Carp turned the game in the 9th inning.  Nishiyama grounded
 to pitcher when runner was on first with one out.  Imanaka
 got it to throw to second baseman Tatsunami, but Tatsunami
 dropped it and couldn't get any out.  After that,  Carp
 batters got 4 continuous hits (two of which were doubles)
 off Imanaka and Nakayama to tie the game.  At last Maeda
 got a game-winning sacrifice fly]

 and made fight with Catcher Yamada who protected
 Shimada.  All players of both teams attended to
 the fight but at last Furuta and Yamada were
 ejected from the game]
